Buying Crypto with a Card is the fastest way to instantly get crypto using a credit/debit card. We are constantly improving this product by introducing new payment methods and transitioning it to a native app instead of using an internal mobile web page. Our goal is to enhance this product with a faster, more responsive, and more interactive design.

The Challenge
The task is to convert the existing flow to the native app while integrating other payment options for users including Apple Pay and Google Pay. By adding these features we would like to take this chance to make the "Add a new card" process smoother and easier.
Goal
Personalized payment methods: How might we provide the best payment options for users according to their preferred fiat currency?

Process
Our team started the project by understanding the user's needs and gathering feedback from users and stakeholders. We conducted extensive research on the competitors as well to identify best practices and trends.

PM will gather user research and insights from stakeholders, CS and UX teams. I conducted a competitor analysis to identify gaps. Below is a brief summary of our insights and findings:
There is a rapid growth in the use of mobile payment systems, which we see as an opportunity to increase the conversion rate for mobile users.
Lack of information on the supporting card types leads to error states when entering certain cards.
It is important to create a logical flow when adding a new card and include every possible scenario.
Solution
We have added new payment options and focusing on optimizing the payment flow to be more straightforward by:
Understanding users through research, we have added Google Pay/Apple Pay options to better fit user preference.
Exaggerate the numbers that users can convert on the first step and display real-time conversion rates from different payment options. This guarantees transparency by notifying users of any price fluctuations and fees they may incur, making our service more trustworthy.
Direct to the confirmation page, eliminating extra steps when they add a new card to provide a smoother experience.
Saved previous card payment information. Once a new card is added, it will be saved for future use, eliminating the need for users to add their credit card information every time.
